ZP2 Circumferential Piston Pump
Circumferential piston pump rotors create the seal between stators that extend from the pump housing. The rotors also do not touch or mesh. The sealing action only exists between the stators and rotors. Due to the additional geometric features, these pumps are generally more expensive than lobe pumps. However, these features make circumferential piston pumps superior at low viscosity efficiency compared to lobe and twin-screw pumps.
The ZP2 Series is built for CIP-ability with enclosed rotor nuts.
It is designed to withstand higher pressures (34.5 Bar) with its larger 17-4ph stainless steel shafts and is 3A Certified. Parts are 100% interchangeable with competing brands and can be re-manufactured back to factory clearances (x4).

Suitable for
The ZP2 Series is well suited for a variety of both sanitary and non-sanitary applications. Note – requires modification to guarantee full CIP (but there is a loss in performance – see ZP3).
